On 07 October the final event of the project!
On 7 October there will be the online event “EWCS: the european pillar of the social dialogue for a sustainable recovery”, final event of the european project “EWCs: the european pillar of social dialogue”.
Throughout the morning it will be deepened the role of the EWCs (the European Works Councils) in the pandemic and recovery management. Aline Hoffmann, Head of Unit Europeanisation industrial relations ETUI, will show the results of the research “Covid-19 as stress test for workers’ participation: the case of EWC”.
There will be then the experiences of EWCs representatives from multinational companies active in: Spain (General Electric Renewable), Bulgaria (Telekom Austria Group), Romania (UpRomania) and Italy (BTIcino).
In the morning, also in occasion of the World Day for Decent Work, there will be tha round table entitled “Local work and multinational companies: how to protect european workers?” on the topic of labour in Europe nowadays. In this important occasion of reflexion, will participate Claes-Mikael Stahl, Deputy General Secretary of the ETUC and On. Patrizia Toia, Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, European Parliament.
